RELX Infinity Plus (RELX Phantom) vs. Infinity - RELX Vape Device Comparison

October 18, 2022

If you haven’t wondered which vape would be superior in a RELX Phantom vs. Infinity comparison, that’s probably because you may not have heard of the former. That’s understandable, given that RELX Phantom is actually called RELX Infinity Plus in the Philippines.

In a nutshell, the Infinity Plus is a fifth-gen model, and it offers some features that are new and others that are improved while also being fitted with the familiar advantages that you’ve come to expect from a RELX product.

Curious to find out about it and see how it stacks up against the Infinity lineup? This article will show you what to expect when you finally try one. Keep reading for more!

Are There Similarities?

When you compare the RELX Infinity Plus vs. Infinity, you’ll find that some features are carried over to the newer model.

Of course, both have Air Boost (a negative pressure airway design) and Active-Steam Pro (constant and balanced atomizing) technologies to deliver the company’s unique Super Smooth Performance. With it, you will surely have the experience you expect from a RELX product.

RELX Infinity and Infinity Plus have 380mAh batteries which can go for a full day without needing a top-up. That is unless you’re an exceedingly heavy vaper, which is why they also have a USB Type-C port that makes charging quick and easy.

Both are fitted with LEDs which let you know battery status. Specifically, they light up as you puff, stay white for as long as your power levels are good, and turn red when you run out of energy.

The auto-draw feature, which means there are no more buttons to press while you vape, is present in the Infinity Plus and Infinity. The same goes for the Smart Pace feature, which delivers a vibration alert if you’ve taken 15 puffs in 15 minutes or less.

Both models are compatible with the RELX Pod Pro, so you don’t need to worry if you already have a favorite flavor.

RELX Infinity Plus vs. Infinity: Features and Design

Now that you know the similarities of the RELX Infinity Plus vs. Infinity, it’s time to see what’s different.

First, the former model’s LEDs are in a four-level bar design, similar to the RELX Artisan series. These can tell you how much battery you have left, but you’ll need to remove and reinsert the pod to make the lights flash. Each bar is equivalent to 25 percent of the battery’s capacity.

Physically, the Infinity Plus is slightly taller than the Infinity, but you’ll only notice that fact when you put the two of them side-by-side. The lower end of the former model (where the charging port is located) is angular, while the Infinity has a rounded end.

Further, the Infinity Plus doesn’t have pogo pins, which means it isn’t compatible with the wireless charging cases of the Infinity. However, RELX will release a new case that fits the Classic, Infinity, and Infinity Plus.

Of course, the colorways of each model are distinct, although there are some similar shades.

Which is Better?

Does the newer device win the RELX Infinity Plus vs. Infinity comparison? Well, there really isn’t a clear winner, as both models have advantages. If you’re thinking about switching to vape, you really can’t go wrong with either.

After all, the important part is the Super Smooth Performance, which the Infinity Plus and Infinity have. So, it all boils down to personal preference. If the battery-level feature is compelling enough, then the Infinity Plus is the right choice for you.

The same goes for the aesthetics, although the two aren’t that far apart (and are quite attractive). However, if you find a colorway for one that isn’t available for the other, you’ll know which to choose.

Excited to do your own RELX Infinity Plus vs. Infinity comparison? The former model hits Philippine shores soon, so get ready to check it out yourself!
