Here’s What you Should do if Your Vape’s LED Lights Stop Working
Many of today’s vapes are fitted with LEDs that let you know how your device is doing. All that blinking, flashing and pulsing is your vape’s way of talking to you.
However, these lights can malfunction or even conk out, leading to miscommunication issues that can put a wrench in your relationship with your device.
If this ever happens to your vape’s LEDs, you don’t need to panic or think that your device is broken — there are some things that you can do:
Check your vape’s batteries
Many people don’t know that low battery levels can actually make a vape’s lights appear as if the device is malfunctioning. The first time this happens can be nerve-wracking, and it’s something that even experienced vapers have been through.
So, the first thing you should do is check the device to see how much power it has left. If it’s nearly drained, just connect it to its charger, and it’ll return to its full working condition after a little time.
Another factor that can cause your device’s lights to appear defective is loose batteries. Take a look at your device’s internals and see if the batteries are in their proper place, or if the lock of the battery chamber is properly latched.
Batteries lose their ability to hold a charge over time, so you may also have old batteries to blame for your malfunctioning lights. If this is the case, swapping them out for a fresh set will let your vape work the way it should.
Check your terminals for any dirt or gunk
One way to prevent problems with your device is to keep it clean.
It’s a fact that e-juice can sometimes seep into the battery chamber, especially if you have a leaky tank or tend to overfill your vape. When this happens, it causes a buildup of residue that often ends up obstructing the circuit, and makes the device and its lights malfunction.
To avoid this, make it a habit to always check for dirt and residue on the pin (where the atomizer connects to the vape) and battery terminals. If you find some, simply wipe away the dirt using a soft cloth and your device will be as good as new.
Try not to use tissue or thick-fiber cloth, as these may leave their own remnants that could get in the way of the connection.
Check your device’s components and their connections
Many of today’s vape devices come with built-in safety features that prevent the device from working if any of its components are loose or dislodged. However, these fail-safes can also prevent the device’s lights from turning back on.
Because of this, you should carefully check your device to see if there are any parts aren’t properly connected. Once everything is secured, the LEDs should function normally.
Get an intuitive device that offers a Super Smooth user experience
It’s time you bought a device that offers a Super Smooth experience.
Sometimes the best way to avoid problems is to get a device that isn't prone to issues, like RELX’s Infinity and Essential lines.
Unlike open-pod systems, RELX devices don’t need to be customized, as they are already built to last. This means that while you can’t really swap out the components, your RELX won’t be prone to experiencing the same issues as mods and other open-pod devices.
Not only that, but RELX devices are also intuitive and easy to use, all thanks to their cutting-edge features. Designed to give you a Super Smooth experience, these include the dual charging capability, a patented Leak-Resistant Maze system, and a Smart Pace Vibration Alert.
